Overview

The Bus Guardian Hero Award program was put in place to honor the finest school bus drivers in North America for their contributions to students and their communities. This campaign encourages viewers to nominate a bus driver that they know personally to win a $250 gift card provided by CalAmp and donate $1,000 to the nonprofit organization of their choice. 

Objective

  1. To drive awarness for the new product feature Bus Guardian which delivers accurate and timely contact tracing, driver wellness checks and hygiene verifications via a rugged, cab-based tablet and intuitive software.

  2. To drive 500 new leads into the inside sales funnel. 

 

Campaign

As the Product Markting specialist for this vertical I lead the campaign, 

  • Worked with internal teams to create award terms and conditions

  • Created affidavit of eligability waiver and publicity release form which was then approved by inside legal team

  • Ran paid media campaign to increase the number of nominations and leads being funneled into sales pipeline

  • Colloborated with web designer to revise, revamp and relaunch BG website 

  • Worked with inside public relations team and public relations agency to draft press release, send media pitches and garner coverage

  • Created paid media e-blast to Student Transportation News (trade publication) readers 

 

Results

This campaign garnered over 1,000 submissions which were funneled to our inside sales team,
