Website Rebrand and Overhaul

This project, led by the CalAmp marketing team consisted of a complete website overhaul and rebrand. 

Goals:

  1. To revamp CalAmp's brand, positioning, and messaging to match the company's current product offerings.

  2. To build a site with proper back linking capabilities to accurately monitor and track website leads.

Launch of Competitive Intelligence Tool (Klue) 

CalAmp uses Klue to capture intel and improve its competitive sales strategy. Klue collects, curates, and delivers competitive and market intelligence to every department throughout CalAmp. 

Goals:

  1. To launch a tool that gives every department in the company visibility into competitive intel. 

  2. To enhance our company's overall competitive knowledge

  3. To support the onboarding and competitive training of 40+ new sales representatives.

Overhaul Sales Enablement Materials 

Enablement materials are vital sales tools reps use to communicate product offerings and establish credibility with potential customers.

 

Goals: 

  1. To organize sales enablement materials in a user-friendly UI experience.

  2. To identify contact gaps with e-books, fact sheets, case studies, white papers, etc. 

  3. To produce new content to replace outdated materials or fill gaps present.

Reward Campaign (Bus Guardian Hero Award) 

This public relations campaign was created to draw attention to the company's new product Bus Guardian.

Goals:

  1. To create awareness for the company's new K-12 product feature Bus Guardian.

  2. To garner leads and drive them to the inside sales team.

  3. To show appreciation to bus drivers in the industry.

Rebrand/ Brand Consolidation

One of the challenges at CalAmp is the varying brands and product offerings. In order to consolidate that branding, I worked with the executive team and product management to determine how to consolidate brand names. 

Goals:

  1. To remove Synovia Solutions branding from all efforts in order to create one CalAmp brand strategy.  

  2. To make our branding easier for customers and users to understand and our product easier to use.

Trade Shows and Events 

CalAmp's K-12 tradeshow roster was carefully curated.

Goals:

  1. To drive net new leads into the sales funnel. 

  2. To enhance customer relations efforts while presenting new products/services.

Marketing Support Package

Functioning in the B2B2C space offers its own subset of challenges including properly educating not only B2B customers about products/services but also teaching end-users how to effectively utilize the products. 

 

Goals: 

  1. To equip school districts with the materials they need to educate parents and students on how to use our products.

  2. To reduce the number of customer service tickets being submitted.

Paid Media Campaigns With Trade Publications

In niche industries finding a way to target your audience can be difficult. Due to this, paid media campaigns were created to target the desired audiences.

Goals:

1. To create awareness and drive demand for two product offerings HCTB and Bus Guardian.

Email Camapign Activiation

 Email marketing, when done correctly, can be an effective way to generate new leads, close sales, and promote renewals. 

 

Goals:

  1. To generate a solid list of contacts who had a genuine interest in our products.

  2. To establish our company as a thought leader in the K-12 telematics space.
